Why this is faster. Most free-score sites prove who you are with a knowledge quiz or a code sent by post, and many people get stuck there. We confirm your identity through your mobile carrier instead: the number you type must be a real mobile line registered to you. That check takes seconds, and a licensed credit-data partner then releases your own report and score to you. It is a soft inquiry, so looking never lowers your score.

How it works

Step 1

Type your mobile number

We check with your carrier that the line is real and belongs to you. If a one-time text is needed, it is the only one you will get.

Step 2

Add your date of birth and agree

You give written instructions to our credit-data partner to fetch your own report. That is what the law requires, and it is one tap.

Step 3

See your score and what moves it

Your score, the accounts behind it, anything that looks wrong, and plain-language next steps. Come back any time for a refresh.

What you get

  • Your credit score and the report behind it, from a licensed consumer reporting partner.
  • A plain-language explanation of what is helping and hurting the number.
  • Flags for accounts or addresses that do not look like yours, with the steps to dispute them.
  • A "what an employer would see" view, because employment credit reports never include a score and are banned in many states.

What we never do

  • Sell your data or show it to anyone but you. Sharing is your choice, every time.
  • Use your score to decide anything about you. Not a job, not a loan, not a lease.
  • Hard inquiries. Checking your own score with us never lowers it.
  • Charge you to "repair" your credit. We show you the facts and the free dispute route.

We are finishing the connection to our credit-data partner. Leave your details and we will email you the moment your check is ready. Early access is free.

One email when it is ready, nothing else. Remove yourself any time by writing to [email protected].

Questions people ask

Do I need my Social Security number?

Not to start. Your mobile number and date of birth identify you to the carrier and to our credit-data partner. If the partner cannot match you from those alone, it may ask for the last four digits, and it will ask you directly, never us.

Will an employer see this?

No. This report is yours. If an employer asks you to verify your identity through VeriAxis, that is a separate one-minute check that confirms your phone number only and never touches your credit.

Which score is it?

The score model and bureau depend on the partner connection we launch with; the page will say exactly which before you run a check. Lenders use several models, so treat any single number as a guide, not a verdict.

Why is it free?

VeriAxis verifies identities for employers. Helping people see their own picture first is good for everyone in that process, and early users tell us what to build next. If we ever add a paid option, the basic check stays free.
